Introduction

This year's Lenten season begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18th.  This year's daily devotional book is titled "The Parables of Lent," by Dean Nadasdy.  It is available at no cost at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Salt Lake City, the congregation I serve.  Beginning February 18th and continuing through Easter Sunday, I will be posting a daily reflection on the devotion for that day.  You are encouraged to read the devotion, my reflection, and post thoughts of your own.  Hopefully this daily discipline will provide a meaningful Lenten experience and lead to a joyful celebration of our Lord's Resurrection!
